Abdel F. Martel
Abdel is passionate about architecture and entrepreneurship. He is driven by opportunities of building professional relationships that are based on mutual trust and respect. He enjoys developing processes that draw from innovation to deliver results that are far from ordinary. His ethos is based on team development, because “together we could be twice as strong.”
He brings over 22 years of leadership and experience in the fields of architecture and engineering. His keen ability to think analytically has allowed him to deliver measurable results in highly complex projects. He is technical and business savvy, and therefore offers a wealth of experience in every area of MOBIO's expertise. Abdel has concentrated the majority of his career in the planning, design and construction of municipal, transportation-aviation, civil, infrastructure and educational projects nationally and internationally.
Abdel received a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science from the School of Architecture at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Before founding MOBIO, Abdel served in senior managing roles for global architectural practices such as Principal for AECOM Buildings + Places division, Vice President and Principal for Leo A Daly in Miami, Vice President and Managing Director for HADP Architecture in Miami. He is an active member of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), Latin Builders Association and has been PMP certified.
