DTC Maternity Floor Operating Suite

MOBIO was commissioned to provide full Architecture and Engineering professional design services for the equipment upgrade and incorporation of a DaVinci robot to Operating Room No. 41 on the fourth level of Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Obstetrics unit. The project encompasses the upgrade of existing surgical equipment booms and surgical lights to new booms and the incorporation of the STERIS 4K HEXAVUE Integration System with touch panel control. The project scope also included the coordination and incorporation of a new DAVINCI Xi system for robotic surgeries. The project deliverables encompassed preparing construction drawings, robotic and equipment vendor coordination, field verifications, permit approval, and construction administration services. The project was reviewed and approved by the Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) and followed Jackson Memorial Hospital ICRA guidelines and requirements.
