Oak Grove Community Center

Description:

The development of the new Community Center, Outdoor Restroom facilities, and Band Shell intended to enhance the community spirit and human interaction in a safe and social environment.  MOBIO, in collaboration with design builder Kauffman Lynn Construction, provided full Architecture/Engineering design services in the pursuit of this project.  The single-level, 20,500 SF Community Center included the following facilities/functions: (1) Lobby; (2) Pre-function space; (3) Multi-Purpose Room; (4) Kitchen & Support Spaces; (5) Media Room; (6) Space for Adult Program; (7) Spaces for After School Program; (8) Game Room; (9) Fitness Center; (10) Lockers and Showers areas; (11) Restrooms & facility support spaces; (12) Swimming Pool; and (13) Outdoor Terraces.  The facility integrates the outdoors with the indoors, providing a sense of place to the Community.
