Description:
As part of the Planning and Programming Continuing Services Contract for MDAD, MOBIO supported RICONDO and Associates in the initial comprehensive planning and visualization of the new Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Terminal at Miami Intermodal Center (MIC). The scope encompassed the planning and design of a mixed-use, free-standing parking garage and Vertiport terminal building, along with all necessary infrastructure to support the operations of the new facility. The airfield located at the top tier of the Parking Garage building provides one (1) Take Off /Landing Pad (FATO), and four (4) Holding Pads with Charging Stations for eVTOL equipment. Passengers’ processing, Lounges, and other support amenities were planned inside the Terminal building. The facility was sited adjacent to the Miami Intermodal Center (MIC).
