As part of the Planning and Programming Continuing Services Contract for MDAD, MOBIO supported RICONDO and Associates in the initial planning and visualization of the new Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Facility at Miami International Airport. The scope encompassed utilizing the existing old PANAM Terminal, Airfield design, a New Maintenance Hangar, A Storage Building, and associated Site work to support the operations of this new facility. The airfield provided two (2) Take Off /Landing Pads; five (5) Holding Pads with Charging Stations; and nine (9) aircraft positions with roof covered connections to all positions. Headhouse and other support amenities would be provided inside the existing Terminal building. For security purposes, the facility will be fenced in with direct airfield connection with Miami International Airport to the south.
